
NOVATO, Calif. (KGO) — Police in Novato are looking for two people wanted in connection with a shooting late Monday night.
One person was shot after 9 p.m. on 3rd Street near Grant Avenue in downtown, but was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The area was roped off with yellow crime scene tape Monday night and early Tuesday morning. Officers could be seen scouring 3rd Street looking for clues.
Two male suspects were seen leaving the area after the shooting. One is described as tall, thin, wearing a white tank top and black pants. The second suspect is described as tall, thin, wearing dark clothing.
Police aren’t saying what happened, but are asking anyone with cameras in the area to check video between 9 p.m. and 9:19 p.m.
Someone also showed up at the hospital with a stab wound a short time after the shooting. As of late Monday night, police were still trying to determine if that case is related.
