SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — ABC7’s new segment “Local Love” is designed to highlight local businesses in the community.
Betsy Espinoza was the very first person to use the online submission form. Owner of San Francisco business Betsy Braids, she joined us to talk more about her work and what it means to her.
Espinoza is a San Francisco-native, who grew up in the Excelsior District. She got her start in high school, helping others braiding and detangling their hair. Realizing this was something she really wanted to do, she worked toward becoming a licensed cosmetologist and decided to seek out establishing a legitimate business.

Betsy Braids offers many indigenous hairstyles for the community, and Espinoza uses her talents to give back and make people smile.
