
SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — At least four people were injured in an apparent mass shooting Tuesday evening in San Francisco’s India Basin neighborhood, according to police.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting just before 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of Burke Ave.
When officers arrived on scene, they found one person with an apparent gunshot wound and they were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

While officers were working the scene, they found out that three other victims were shot and were transported to the hospital before authorities arrived. Their conditions are unknown at this time.
Police say the total number of victims is four as of right now.
Authorities have not released any information about a possible suspect or suspects but say there is no current threat to the public.
The San Francisco Department of Emergency Management is also advising people to avoid the area of San Francisco General Hospital but have not confirmed if this is connected to the shooting.
