LOS ANGELES — Horror fans, mark your calendars: 20th Century Studios has announced that its latest terrifying feature, “Psycho Killer,” will hit theaters next year.
From the producers behind “Barbarian” and “Weapons,” the film promises a nerve-racking ride across the American heartland.
The trailer is a pulse-pounding glimpse of what’s to come. It’s raw, intense, and sets the stage for a road trip straight into madness.
Directed by Gavin Polone and written by Andrew Kevin Walker, the movie stars Georgina Campbell as a Kansas highway patrol officer whose life is shattered by the brutal murder of her husband.
Determined to find the culprit, her pursuit leads her down a dark and harrowing path, straight into the orbit of a sadistic serial killer, played by James Preston Rogers. What begins as a quest for justice spirals into a confrontation with a twisted mind and a sinister agenda more horrifying than she could have imagined.
Rounding out the cast are Grace Dove, Logan Miller, and screen legend Malcolm McDowell.
The film is produced by Roy Lee, Matt Berenson, Andrew Kevin Walker, and Arnon Milchan, with an impressive lineup of executive producers including Martin Moszkowicz, Robert Kulzer, Yariv Milchan, Natalie Lehmann, and Kat Landsberg.
“Psycho Killer” premieres in theaters on February 20, 2026.
The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of 20th Century Studios and this ABC station.
