LOS ANGELES — The theme song for “Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team-Up!” was revealed today ahead of the special’s debut on Wednesday, October 16. The opening theme “Team-Up!” is written and performed by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, who also serves as songwriter and composer for “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends.”
The “Team-Up” special premieres on Disney Junior at 8 a.m. EDT/PDT and later that day on Disney Channel and Disney Junior On Demand, then arrives on Disney Plus the next day.
The special marks the first crossover between characters from Disney Junior’s “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” and “Marvel’s Iron Man and his Awesome Friends.” In the story, Iron Man and the Avengers join Spidey to stop Ultron and Green Goblin from taking control of the city’s machines.
Mason Blomberg is Tony Stark (Iron Man), Alkaio Thiele is Peter Parker (Spidey), Armen Taylor is Hulk, Sandra Saad is Ms. Marvel, Cruz Flateau is Black Panther, Hero Hunter is Captain America, J. P. Karliak is Green Goblin and Tony Hale as Ultron.
From Disney Branded Television, executive producers are Harrison Wilcox, Bart Jennett and Chris Moreno. Becca Topol is co-producer and story editor. Steve Grover is supervising producer. Sean Coyle and James Eason-Garcia are consulting producers.
