NEW YORK CITY — A special honor was bestowed to someone very important to the Disney and ABC family on Thursday night.

Rita Ferro, the President of Global Advertising for The Walt Disney Company, was honored at the Hispanic Star Gala in New York City.

Ferro was one of several honorees recognized for their contributions to elevating the Hispanic narrative and celebrating the work Latinos do each and every day.
