REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KGO) — One person has been shot by police following a standoff with officers in Redwood City, police said Tuesday afternoon.
Police have been engaged in a standoff since at least 2:53 p.m. when the fire department was called to assist.
The shots were reported at around 3:20 p.m.
It happened near the junction of Woodside Road and El Camino Real.
It’s not immediately clear yet what led up to the standoff or the condition of the person shot.
