FAIRFIELD, Calif. (KGO) — The Budweiser plant in Fairfield is closing after nearly 50 years in business.
Fairfield Mayor Catherine Moy announced on social media that Anheuser Busch, Budweiser’s parent company, plans to shut down the facility sometime early next year.

The plant employs about 475 people.
Moy said all employees will receive job offers for other Anheuser-Busch facilities around the country.
