NEW YORK — Nobody does Halloween like “Live!”
From Labubus to “Severance,” “Love Island,” “The Fantastic Four,” Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and pretty much everything in between, “Live’s Halloween Show: It’s Trending” won the day, and so did their studio audience, with the most creative costume contest yet!
“Our audience won. We had, without question, the best audience,” said “Live!” co-hosts, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.
Ripa and Consuelos said the “giving birth” costume was their personal favorite.
“Maybe because we’ve done this before, so it seems familiar,” Ripa said.
This year’s Halloween show was the first in their new studio.
The hosts portrayed so many costumes and characters that even they couldn’t keep count.
“No idea. We lost track,” Ripa and Consuelos said.
Executive producer Michael Gelman said his favorite outfit was the Fantastic Four.
“The Labubu was too hot. The speedo was a little too cold, it was a little cold in the studio,” he said.
The grand prize winner was the dumpster diver, who will get an eight-day Danube River cruise, which is valued at $15,000.
Ripa and Consuelos said they are already working on next year’s show.
