Marin fire responds to 2-alarm apartment structure fire in Sausalito, California with no injuries reported

SAUSALITO, Calif. (KGO) — Southern Marin Fire responded to a structure fire at an apartment building in Sausalito on Sunday.

Crews arrived on scene at 14 Josephine Street around 9:15 a.m. and were able to quickly get water onto the fire.

Fire officials say crews were able to knock down the blaze in less than 45 mins.

Authorities say there were no injuries reported, but residents have been displaced who are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The structure fire remains under investigation with no cause identified.
