Marvel Television releases trailer for new series ‘Wonder Man,’ starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Marvel Television releases the trailer for the new series “Wonder Man,” starring Emmy Award-winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams, a struggling actor with superpowers.

In the trailer, Simon gets a chance meeting with experienced actor Trevor Slattery (Academy Award-winner Ben Kingsley) that leads to working with legendary director Von Kovak (Zlatko Buri) who’s remaking the superhero film “Wonder Man.”

“Acting is the sum of everything you’ve ever experienced. The joy. Sadness. Loss. Heartbreak,” Kingsley says in the trailer. And speaking of emotional rollercoasters, the Department of Damage Control is also looking for Simon because he’s an “extraordinary threat.”

Watch the adventure unfold when all eight episodes of “Wonder Man” start streaming January 27 at 6p/5c on Disney+. Fans can also listen to the “Wonder Man” soundtrack, featuring an original score by composer Joel P West, available on Hollywood Records across all digital platforms January 30.
