REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (KGO) — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s office is investigating a major fight at a Redwood City jail Friday morning.
Officials say the fight broke out ‘between incarcerated perons’ around 10:45 a.m. at the Maguire Correctional Facility.

The situation is now under control and the facility is secure, meaning there is no threat to public safety.
It’s not clear at this time how many inmates were involved and if any were injured.
