Hundreds of Oakland Ballers fans celebrated the team’s 2025 Pioneer League Championship on Sunday.
OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) — Hundreds of Oakland Ballers fans celebrated the team’s 2025 Pioneer League Championship on Sunday.
SKY 7 was overhead the festivities at Raimondi Park as the team made its way through the street.
“I just think it’s great. It really is a wonderful thing for people to come together and have a good time. It’s really positive,” said Kitty Gordon, Oakland Ballers fan.
“Really good sense of community. It’s for the fans and for the city. It’s been great,” said fellow fan Eric Gordon.

The team was also honored during a rally at City Hall by Oakland Mayor Barbara Lee and Councilmember Carroll Fife.
The Oakland Ballers played its first game in 2024.
