SAN JOSE, Calif. (KGO) — San Jose police spent Saturday canvassing outside of a well-known neighborhood bakery, searching for the suspect in a recent assault.
Peter’s Bakery, located in the city’s Alum Rock neighborhood, recently released surveillance video from the incident that happened about 10 days ago.
According to the owner, a man walked in, attempted to sell wipes, then became aggressive and damaged equipment inside the shop.
The video also shows a customer, who was recording the encounter, being shoved to the ground.

“That’s scary, definitely. I won’t feel comfortable, particularly my employees, my customers. We like to feel comfortable coming here, working here and shopping here. It’s very scary,” said Srikandh Nandamuri, owner of neighboring business City Care Pharmacy.
The suspect has not been found. Peter’s Bakery is asking anyone with information to contact the San Jose Police Department.
The bakery said it has accrued over $2,000 in damages.
