SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — Salesforce founder Marc Benioff is doubling down on his support for President Trump – even welcoming National Guard troops in San Francisco.
Benioff told the New York Times he would support President Trump sending troops to the city.

State Senator Scott Weiner reacted to Benioff’s statement on X:
“Salesforce is a great San Francisco company that does so much good for our city. Inviting Trump to send the National Guard here is not one of those good things. Quite the opposite. We neither need nor want an illegal military occupation in San Francisco,” he said.
At one time, Benioff was one of the Bay Area’s more progressive billionaires – supporting Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris.
But he has shown frustration with crime in the city and threatened to move the Dreamforce conference out of San Francisco.
