SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The San Francisco 49ers are in the playoffs, and they didn’t even have to play to get it done!
The team did not play on Sunday, as it traveled to Indianapolis to take on the Colts on Monday.
The team’s chance at the playoffs was secured after the Detroit Lions hosted the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The 49ers ended up clinching the playoff spot after the Lions lost to the Steelers.
They currently sit as the No. 6 seed in the NFC with a 10-4 record.
You can watch the 49ers take on the Colts during Monday Night Football on ABC7. Game begins at 5 p.m.
