SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) — The San Francisco Giants are officially introducing their new manager, Tony Vitello, at Oracle Park on Thursday.
Vitello is coming from the University of Tennessee, where he served as the head coach for seven seasons.

During that time, the Tennessee Volunteers won multiple conference championships and the College World Series in 2024.
Now, as the Giants’ new manager, he’ll make history, becoming the first college baseball coach to be hired as a Major League Baseball manager without any prior professional coaching experience.
