It’s not too early to start your holiday season event planning!
Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be hitting the road this holiday season for its winter, 2025 tour, “Ghosts of Christmas Eve: The Best of TSO and More.”
The group was formed in 1996 by the late music producer Paul O’Neil. It’s best known known for the iconic song “Ghost of Christmas Eve.”
This year, the group will play 106 concerts in 64 different markets. Writer, guitarist and musical director Al Pitrelli told On The Red Carpet that fans should expect the unexpected!
“Folks want their holiday tradition intact. That’s gonna be the familiar portion of the show, which is ‘The Ghost of Christmas Eve.’ But everything from the second that curtain comes up before we even play one note, I want everybody back on their heels going, oh my God, this looks nothing like what we’ve seen in years past,” Pitrelli said.
Vocalist Kayla Reeves said she will get to sing the dedication to O’Neill.
“To be able to have that role in this organization is a huge honor and a huge responsibility,” she said. “It doesn’t matter what I’m singing, as long as I’m up there with my best friends.”
“Getting to do what I love on the greatest stage that I’ve ever had the honor and opportunity to perform on, it’s something that I look forward to every year. I mean, we’re a family,” Reeves continued.
The fans, too, have become family to the band.
“We’ve be touring for 26 years, and there’s people who came to see that first-run of shows in ’99 that are still coming to see us. If they brought their kids in ’99, now they’re bringing their grandkids. So when we roll into town, not only do we know everybody who works at the venues, the parking attendants, the concession stand, the security people, everybody, we know most of the people in the audience,” Pitrelli said.
The Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2025 Winter Tour begins November 13 in Green Bay, and has multiple dates in California, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, New Jersey and more. Click HERE for ticket information.
