The health alert involves Trader Joe’s “Uncured Pepperoni Pizza,” which were sold at stores across California.
LOS ANGELES (KABC) — The Department of Agriculture has issued a public health alert for frozen pizza from Trader Joe’s.
The company alerted the USDA that the “Uncured Pepperoni Pizza” was not presented for reinspection by the Food and Safety Inspection Service.

The item was sold at stores across California. So far, there haven’t been any reports of it causing illness, but the retailer has since stopped selling the item.
The USDA is worried that some people may still have it in their freezers, so if you do, you can return the pizza to Trader Joe’s for a refund.
